Which one should you pick?
BUSY is the cheaper way to keep the books. Stitchfloor is the way to get the floor onto the same record. Many factories will want both.
Pick BUSY if
Accounting software with a large base of users.
- You want accounting, GST, e-way bills and e-invoices for a few hundred rupees a month: BUSY Magic SMART is ₹8,000 for 360 days.3
- Your sales staff should take orders and make invoices on a phone, on Android or iOS.4
- You use a bill of materials and job work on BUSY 21, or payroll on BUSY Enterprise.5, 6, 7
- You want a dealer nearby for set-up and changes.8
Pick Stitchfloor if
And keep BUSY beside it, if your accountant uses it.
- Your supervisors should record the floor's work themselves, on their own desks.
- You pay a rate per process and approve the week's wages in one payout.
- You track lots by stage, print weekly job cards and send lots to printers.
- Your floor reads Hindi: the Production, Operations and Inventory desks run in Hindi.
- You want a cash forecast customer by customer, and customer tiers with a rule for each.
Feature by feature.
Every BUSY cell links to Busy Infotech's own pages. Where Stitchfloor is behind, the table says so. A live workspace is your company's own Stitchfloor, as opposed to the public demo.

Where each one is stronger.
BUSY does the books for less money. Stitchfloor does the floor, which BUSY does not try to.
BUSYWhere it is stronger
- The statutory books, cheaply.Full accounting, GST, e-way bills and e-invoices from about ₹667 a month on BUSY Magic SMART.3
- E-invoices.The IRN and QR code are printed automatically. Stitchfloor has no e-invoicing.1
- A mobile app for sales.Orders, quotations, invoices and receipts from a phone, on Android and iOS, syncing with the desktop.4
- Manufacturing and job work on BUSY 21.A multi-level bill of materials and production, and in-house or outside job work tracked by job ID.5, 6
- A large base of users.BUSY counts more than 6 lakh businesses, and IndiaMART has owned it since 2022.1, 2
StitchfloorWhere it is different
- The floor has its own desks.BUSY's app is for owners, sales, accounts and the store. In Stitchfloor, Production and Operations supervisors sign in to screens built for their work: lots by stage, worker assignments and weekly job cards, printed one at a time or all at once.
- Hindi where the work happens. The Production, Operations and Inventory desks run in Hindi on the web and on Android, with 41 spoken instructions. Printed documents stay in English.
- Speak the entry. On a live workspace a supervisor says one sentence in Hindi or Hinglish. The form fills in from your own workers and open lots, and the factory's six processes, and nothing saves until a person confirms it.
- Piece-rate wages, approved weekly.A wage is earned when the bundle goes out, and paid through a weekly payout that an approver signs off.
- Lots at printers, and the factory's cash.Lots go out to printers and are counted back in, and the supervisor's factory cash book is kept apart from the office's cash and bank book.
The prices, with the arithmetic.
BUSY's prices are from busy.in, with GST to be added. Stitchfloor's are our list prices. 360 days are counted as twelve months.

BUSY costs less. Running both, BUSY Magic SMART and Stitchfloor Factory come to about ₹12,666 a month in list prices. BUSY adds GST to its prices. For Stitchfloor, prices are per month. Ask us for a written quote.3
BUSY add-ons, if you need them: the mobile app at ₹3,600 per device a year (about ₹300 a month), and BUSY Online at ₹10,800 per 360 days.3, 4
Keep BUSY. Add the floor.
You do not have to choose. Here is how the two sit side by side.
-
Your accountant
BUSY keeps the statutory books
The trial balance, input GST, depreciation and GST returns stay where they are, with the person who files them.
-
Your supervisors and office
Stitchfloor runs the floor and the daily books
Lots, job cards, piece-rate wages, stock, GST invoices, e-way bills on live workspaces, receivables and payables.
-
Between the two
Files, carried by a person
Stitchfloor's Accounts page imports the journal workbook your accountant exports, and several of its registers and reports download as CSV for your accountant.
Before you change anything.
Can Stitchfloor do everything BUSY does?
No. It does the daily work most factories open accounting software for: GST invoices, e-way bills on live workspaces, party ledgers, a cash and bank book, receivables and payables, and a profit estimate.
Input GST, statutory filings, depreciation and a trial balance are outside it, and it does not make e-invoices or file GST returns. Your accountant keeps those books.
Does Stitchfloor connect to BUSY?
Not with a live connection, and nothing moves between the two on its own. Stitchfloor's Accounts page imports the journal workbook your accountant exports, and several registers and reports download as CSV. An administrator can also download the whole workspace from Settings at any time.
BUSY has a mobile app. How is Stitchfloor different?
BUSY's app is for owners, sales staff, accountants and store managers: orders, invoices, receipts and reports.4 Stitchfloor's phone screens are for the floor as well: production and operations supervisors record assignments, pieces back and factory cash, in Hindi if they prefer. Stitchfloor works in any phone's browser, and its Android app is in closed testing.
Is BUSY available in Hindi?
BUSY's support pages say it can print invoices in another language, Hindi included, once Google Input Tools is installed.8 We did not find Hindi screens. Stitchfloor's Production, Operations and Inventory desks run in Hindi; its printed documents stay in English.
Can I try it before I talk to you?
Yes. The public demo at demo.stitchfloor.com opens every desk on a sample factory, with a shared password and nothing to install. Voice entry and e-way bill filing need a live workspace; in the demo an e-way bill number is typed in by hand. The online catalogue and Leads are in the demo too; on a live workspace they need a one-time setup step.
