SAP sells an ERP project. Stitchfloor is built for the garment floor.

SAP Business One is a serious ERP system, sold and set up by partners, with a breadth across industries that a garment floor seldom needs. It costs what an ERP project costs: by Indian partners' published estimates, ten Professional users come to about ₹28 lakh on day one with GST, for licences, the first year's maintenance and implementation, before the database and server.1, 2 Stitchfloor keeps the floor and the daily books on one record for ₹6,999 to ₹14,499 a month, GST included, for 10 users.

Covers SAP Business One and SAP S/4HANA Cloud (GROW with SAP), and in brief Oracle NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Checked October 2026.

01The short answer

Which platform is the right fit?

SAP is a general ERP for many industries, configured by a partner. Stitchfloor is one system built for a garment factory, from the cutting table to the balance sheet. Here is how we would decide.

Choose SAP if

Depth, room to grow, and a partner to run the project.

  • You need production with a bill of materials, accounting, stock and India's GST localisation in one system, set up to your processes by a partner.3, 4
  • You expect to grow into enterprise ERP: SAP pitched GROW with SAP at companies with fewer than 2,000 people and $100 million to $1 billion in revenue.5
  • You have a budget for an implementation partner and months for the project.2
  • You run several businesses beyond garments and want one ERP across all of them.

Choose Stitchfloor if

A garment factory that wants to start now.

  • An ERP project's price and timeline are the reason you never started one.
  • You want to see the software working before you pay anyone: the demo opens every desk on a sample factory.
  • Supervisors should record work in Hindi, on their phones, on desks built for them.
  • You pay piece rates and send lots to printers part by part.
  • You want the daily books kept from the work itself: double-entry books, GSTR-1 ready to upload, GSTR-3B worked out for your accountant, e-invoices and e-way bills, with nothing to configure.
02Feature comparison

Stitchfloor and SAP Business One and Business Central, capability by capability.

SAP Business One and Business Central are assessed on the edition priced below rather than the entry tier, against the vendor's own documentation, with the specific finding beside each verdict. Partial indicates the capability is limited, manual, reserved for a higher tier or delivered through a paid add-on or third-party app. Not documented indicates we found no reference in the vendor's documentation, which is distinct from the vendor confirming it is unavailable. The heading row stays in view as you scroll; select a verdict to open its source.

Where each one is stronger.

SAP is the broader system, for any industry and any size. Stitchfloor is the one built for a garment floor, at a price and a pace a factory can start on this week.

SAPWhere it is stronger

  • Breadth.Accounting, stock, production with bills of materials and route stages, and India's GST localisation in one system, with job work through external warehouses.3, 4, 30
  • Room to grow.If a company outgrows Business One, SAP has S/4HANA Cloud for companies far larger than one factory.5
  • A partner network.Partners set it up, configure it and support it, and third parties sell add-ons such as India payroll and garment size grids.2, 7, 31
  • Sign-in security.Since FP 2305 an administrator can turn on two-factor authentication, with a code from a mobile authenticator.34
  • Mobile apps.Business One, Sales and Service apps on Android, and Business One and Sales apps on the App Store.8, 9, 32

StitchfloorWhere it is different

  • Price.Stitchfloor's top plan is ₹14,499 a month, GST included, for the company and 10 users. The partner estimates on this page for a 10-user Business One set-up come to roughly four to ten times that, before GST.
  • The books are kept by the work.An invoice, a receipt, a printer's bill or a week's wages posts to the double-entry books as it is recorded, and GSTR-1 comes out ready to upload, and GSTR-3B is worked out for your accountant. Nothing has to be configured first.
  • Built for a garment floor.Every lot from cutting to packing, printers part by part, piece rates per process, fabric by weight and colour, garments by design and size.
  • Hindi where the work happens. The Production, Operations and Inventory desks run in Hindi on the web and on Android, with about 40 spoken instructions. Printed documents stay in English.
  • Speak the entry. On a live workspace a supervisor says one sentence in Hindi or Hinglish. The form fills in from your own workers and open lots, and your factory's own process steps, and nothing saves until a person confirms it.
04Pricing and implementation

Total cost of ownership for ten users, GST included.

Each product is priced for ten named users on the edition closest to Stitchfloor's scope, with 18% GST applied and minimum seat counts, annual prepayment, renewals, per-device fees and remote access included. Due at signing is the cash required before the first transaction is posted. Stitchfloor charges no implementation fee and invoices only from go-live.

SAP Business One, 10 Professional users

₹2,34,710effective monthly cost in year one, 10 users, GST included

SAP publishes no price, so these are Indian partners' published estimates. The Professional user is the full licence; it is bought outright with yearly maintenance, and a partner implements it. The database licence and the server or hosting are extra and not priced by any partner page we found.33, 56, 58

  1. Licences, ₹1,59,905 × 10 users (estimate)₹15,99,050
  2. First-year maintenance, 18%₹2,87,829

  4. Before GST₹23,86,879
  5. 18% GST₹4,29,638
  6. Due at signing, GST included₹28,16,517

Implementation: ₹5 lakh partner estimate, included in the totals

A size matrix, quality control, WhatsApp and India payroll are third-party add-ons, each from US$999 to US$1,499.

Business Central Premium, 10 users

₹1,57,137effective monthly cost in year one, 10 users, GST included

Premium is the only plan with manufacturing. Microsoft prices it per user per month, paid yearly in advance, with GST extra, and a partner implements it; the implementation here is an Indian partner's estimate.59, 57

  1. Premium, ₹9,150 × 10 users × 12 months₹10,98,000
  2. Implementation (partner estimate)₹5,00,000
  3. Before GST₹15,98,000

Implementation fees and billing terms.

No vendor publishes an implementation rate card; ranges are partners' and independent analysts' published estimates.

SAP Business One and Business Central are built for companies with an IT team and an implementation partner. A first year of SAP Business One for ten users costs more than sixteen years of Stitchfloor Intelligence; a first year of Business Central, more than ten.

05Other big ERPs

S/4HANA Cloud, NetSuite and Business Central, in brief.

Three more large systems a growing factory hears about, on the same footing: what they cost, how long they take, and how they handle Hindi and India's GST.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud (GROW)

  • Who it is forCompanies with fewer than 2,000 people and $100 million to $1 billion in revenue, as SAP pitched it at launch.5
  • PriceNot published. Partners estimate ₹1.5 to 3 lakh a month, or ₹50,000 to 1.5 lakh, before implementation.2, 11
  • Set-upSAP said GROW customers could go live in a few weeks (2023); one partner quotes 8 to 16 weeks.11, 12
  • HindiNot found among the languages we checked.13
  • India complianceE-way bills and e-invoices through SAP Document and Reporting Compliance.14

Oracle NetSuite

  • PriceNot published. A partner estimates a base licence of about $1,099 a month plus $99 to $149 per full user: $2,089 to $2,589 a month for 10 users.15
  • Set-up₹8 to 18 lakh and 3 to 5 months, by the same partner.15
  • HindiNo: not in NetSuite's interface languages.16
  • India complianceE-way bills and e-invoices through the India Localization SuiteTax Engine, set up with your account manager.17
  • PhonesFree apps on Google Play and the App Store.18

Dynamics 365 Business Central

  • PriceThe only one here with an official India price: ₹6,655 (Essentials) or ₹9,150 (Premium) per user a month, paid yearly, GST extra. Manufacturing needs Premium, so 10 users are ₹91,500 a month before GST, or ₹12,95,640 a year paid ahead with GST, before implementation.19, 20
  • Set-up8 to 20 weeks, with manufacturing at the long end (partner estimate).21
  • On the floorRole Centers for roles such as Shop Supervisor and Machine Operator, user tasks, a printable job card per production order, and Microsoft's Subcontracting app with subcontractor prices.39, 40, 41
  • HindiNo: not in Microsoft's supported languages.22
  • India complianceGST, e-way bills and e-invoices in the India localisation; e-way bills and e-invoices move as files you export and import.23, 24, 25
  • AICopilot is included; agents are billed per use in Copilot Credits.20, 26
06Your records

Start now. Your records stay yours.

Stitchfloor runs the floor and the daily books from the first day, and nothing you record in it is locked in.

  1. Today

Run the floor and the books in Stitchfloor

Lots, job cards, piece-rate wages, stock, GST invoices, e-invoices and e-way bills, receivables and payables, and the double-entry books they post to.

  2. Your accountant

Files the returns and closes the year

GSTR-1 comes ready to upload, and GSTR-3B is worked out for your accountant. TDS, bank reconciliation and depreciation stay with your accountant, who can take the books into Tally as an XML file.

  3. Any time

    Take the records with you

An administrator can download the whole workspace from Settings at any time as one file, and several registers and reports download as CSV.

What Stitchfloor is not It is not a general ERP for every industry, and it does not plan material from a bill of materials. It does not connect to SAP, NetSuite or Business Central: if you move to one later, your own records go with you as files, for whoever sets up the next system.
07Questions

Before you choose.

Is Stitchfloor an ERP?

It is an ERP built for one kind of business, a garment factory: production, stock, piece-rate wages, GST invoices, e-invoices, e-way bills, receivables and payables, and double-entry books with GSTR-1 ready to upload, GSTR-3B worked out for your accountant.

What it leaves out on purpose: planning material from a bill of materials, and the accountant's year-end work (TDS, bank reconciliation, depreciation and filing the returns on the GST portal).

Why are the SAP prices estimates?

SAP sells Business One and GROW through partners and does not publish a price list. The figures on this page are partners' own published estimates. They disagree, so we show the range and name each source.1, 2, 5, 10

Is an ERP project risky?

It can be, whoever the vendor is. Gartner predicts that by 2027 more than 70% of recently implemented ERP initiatives will fail to fully meet their original business-case goals, and in Panorama's 2026 ERP Report more than a quarter of organisations said their project ran over budget.27, 28 Neither figure is about SAP alone.

Which big ERP has a published India price?

Of the four on this page, only Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central: ₹6,655 or ₹9,150 per user a month, paid yearly, with GST extra.19 For SAP and NetSuite the figures are partner estimates. Stitchfloor's price is published too: ₹14,499 a month for every feature, GST included, with 10 users, billed monthly.

Can my supervisors use Stitchfloor on their phones?

Yes. There are Android and iPhone apps built for the floor, by invitation, and every desk also runs in any phone's browser.

Can I try it before I talk to you?

Yes. The public demo at demo.stitchfloor.com opens every desk on a sample factory, with a shared password and nothing to install. Voice entry and filing with the GST portals need a live workspace; in the demo an IRN or an e-way bill number is typed in by hand. The online catalogue and Leads are in the demo too; on a live workspace they need a one-time setup step.
