TranZact plans production beside your books. Stitchfloor runs the garment floor and keeps them.

TranZact is cloud factory software for Indian manufacturers, and the product on this site closest to Stitchfloor. It plans production with a multi-step bill of materials, MRP and routing, and leaves the accounting to Tally, BUSY or Zoho.1, 6 Stitchfloor is made for garments: lots, printers, piece-rate wages and Hindi desks for supervisors, with the double-entry books and GST returns kept from the same record.

01The short answer

Which platform is the right fit?

These two are closer than any other pair on this site. If you plan material from a bill of materials and already keep the books elsewhere, TranZact fits. If the floor should be recorded by the people on it, and the books kept from that same record, pick Stitchfloor.

Choose TranZact if

The wider planning toolkit, beside your accounting software.

  • You need a multi-step bill of materials, MRP, production costing and routing.1
  • You want the machine and the operator recorded on each routing step, which TranZact added in July 2026.2
  • Your books already live in Tally, BUSY or Zoho and should stay there, with TranZact syncing to them.1, 6
  • You want AI that reads a supplier's invoice photo and makes the goods receipt.3
  • You want to start free: the Free plan has 3 users, without the production module or the Tally link.1, 17

Choose Stitchfloor if

The garment floor and the books, in one place and in Hindi.

  • Your floor reads Hindi, and supervisors should record the work themselves, on their own desks.
  • You pay a rate per process and approve the week's wages in one payout.
  • You send lots to printers part by part and count them back in; printing is priced when the lot comes back, and one printer statement covers several lots.
  • You want one record instead of two systems: double-entry books, GSTR-1 ready to upload, GSTR-3B worked out for your accountant, e-invoices and e-way bills, from the same work the floor recorded.
  • On a live workspace (your company's own Stitchfloor, as opposed to the public demo), a supervisor can speak an entry in Hindi or Hinglish and check it before it saves.
02Feature comparison

Stitchfloor and TranZact, capability by capability.

TranZact is assessed on the edition priced below rather than the entry tier, against the vendor's own documentation, with the specific finding beside each verdict. Partial indicates the capability is limited, manual, reserved for a higher tier or delivered through a paid add-on or third-party app. Not documented indicates we found no reference in the vendor's documentation, which is distinct from the vendor confirming it is unavailable. The heading row stays in view as you scroll; select a verdict to open its source.

  • Included as standard
  • Partial: limited, higher tier or paid add-on

03Fair to both

Where each one is stronger.

TranZact goes further into planning. Stitchfloor goes further into the garment floor, and keeps the books itself.

TranZactWhere it is stronger

  • Manufacturing depth.A multi-step bill of materials, production, MRP and costing on Scale, with routing and sub-contracting. Since July 2026, WIP is tracked step by step, with the machine and the operator on each.1, 2
  • Works beside the accounting you have.A one-way sync to Tally, BUSY and Zoho, so the books stay where they already are.1, 6, 9
  • AI on the paperwork.AI data agent dashboards, and a supplier's invoice photo turned into a goods receipt and a purchase invoice.1, 3
  • A guided go-live, and a free start.TranZact says 2 to 3 weeks to go live with a dedicated product expert, and its Free plan covers 3 users.1, 4

StitchfloorWhere it is different

  • One record, not two systems.TranZact leaves accounting to Tally, BUSY or Zoho. In Stitchfloor an invoice, a receipt, a printer's bill or a week's wages posts to its own double-entry books as it is recorded, and GSTR-1 comes out ready to upload, and GSTR-3B is worked out for your accountant.6
  • Made for garments.Fabric by weight and colour, finished goods by design and size, every lot from cutting to packing, printers part by part, packaging inputs and an alteration register.
  • Hindi where the work happens. The Production, Operations and Inventory desks run in Hindi on the web and on Android, with about 40 spoken instructions. Printed documents stay in English.
  • Piece-rate wages, approved weekly.A wage is earned when the bundle goes out, and paid through a weekly payout that an approver signs off, or by ticking the week's job cards, net of advances.
  • Speak the entry. On a live workspace a supervisor says one sentence in Hindi or Hinglish. The form fills in from your own workers and open lots, and your factory's own process steps, and nothing saves until a person confirms it.
04Pricing and implementation

Total cost of ownership for ten users, GST included.

Each product is priced for ten named users on the edition closest to Stitchfloor's scope, with 18% GST applied and minimum seat counts, annual prepayment, renewals, per-device fees and remote access included. Due at signing is the cash required before the first transaction is posted. Stitchfloor charges no implementation fee and invoices only from go-live.

TranZact Scale, 10 users

₹24,190effective monthly cost in year one, 10 users, GST included

Scale is TranZact's first plan with production, sub-contracting and e-invoices. It includes 6 users, each further user ₹2,000 a month, and is billed yearly only; prices exclude GST and fees paid are not refundable.6, 21, 8

  1. Scale, 6 users, ₹12,500 × 12 months₹1,50,000
  2. 4 more users, ₹2,000 × 4 × 12 months₹96,000

Compare plans

Implementation fees and billing terms.

No vendor publishes an implementation rate card; ranges are partners' and independent analysts' published estimates.

TranZact does not keep the books, so a factory pays for Tally, BUSY or Zoho beside it, and someone keeps the two in step. Stitchfloor keeps the daily books on the same record as the floor, for less than Scale alone, billed monthly.

05One record

Two systems and a sync, or one record.

With TranZact, production and the books live in different software. With Stitchfloor, the floor's work is the books, and your accountant still gets a file for Tally.

  1. With TranZact

    Production here, the books there

TranZact runs production and sends a one-way sync to Tally, BUSY or Zoho, where the ledgers, GST and the balance sheet are kept.6, 9

  2. With Stitchfloor

The floor posts to the books

Lots, wages, printers, invoices, receipts and payments post to Stitchfloor's own double-entry books as they are recorded, and GSTR-1 comes out ready to upload, with GSTR-3B worked out for your accountant.

  3. Your accountant

Tally stays theirs, if they like

The books download as an XML file that TallyPrime imports, so your accountant reconciles the bank, books TDS and depreciation, and files the returns where they always have.18

What Stitchfloor is not It is not a material planning system: it plans no purchases from a bill of materials and runs no MRP. Filing on the GST portal, TDS, bank reconciliation and depreciation stay with your accountant. The Tally file is a file, not a live sync.
06Questions

Before you choose.

Which is closer to how a garment factory works?

Stitchfloor is built only for garment units: fabric by weight and colour, garments by design and size, lots out at printers part by part, piece-rate wages per process. TranZact is general factory software with the wider planning modules: if you need MRP or a multi-step bill of materials, TranZact has them and Stitchfloor does not.

Which one keeps the books?

Stitchfloor. TranZact says your accounting stays in Tally, BUSY or Zoho.6 Stitchfloor keeps double-entry books from the work itself (trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet, ledgers and journal vouchers), with GST invoices, e-invoices, e-way bills, and GSTR-1 ready to upload, 3B worked out.

What it leaves to your accountant: TDS, bank reconciliation, depreciation, and filing the returns on the GST portal. The books download as a file Tally imports for that.

Is TranZact available in Hindi?

We did not find Hindi screens on TranZact's pages.10 Stitchfloor's Production, Operations and Inventory desks run in Hindi; its printed documents stay in English.

How do the prices compare?

TranZact's Free plan covers 3 users without the production module. Scale is ₹12,500 a month for 6 users and Dominate ₹30,000 for 12, both billed yearly, with extra users at ₹2,000 and ₹2,500 a month; TranZact's terms say fees exclude tax. Ten users on Scale come to ₹2,90,280 a year, paid ahead, with GST.1 Stitchfloor's plans are ₹6,999, ₹11,999 and ₹14,499 a month for the company, GST included, with 10 users and a 30-day money-back guarantee. TranZact's figure does not include the accounting software it works beside.

Can my supervisors use Stitchfloor on their phones?

Yes. There are Android and iPhone apps built for the floor, by invitation, and every desk also runs in any phone's browser.

Can I try it before I talk to you?

Yes. The public demo at demo.stitchfloor.com opens every desk on a sample factory, with a shared password and nothing to install. Voice entry and filing with the GST portals need a live workspace; in the demo an IRN or an e-way bill number is typed in by hand. The online catalogue and Leads are in the demo too; on a live workspace they need a one-time setup step.
